Darby's from Barrow upon soar

Hi I am new here and I am glad I joined. I need some help looking for some Darby's born in barrow upon soar .I am looking for JOHN DARBY b abt 1830 he married ANN CHAPMAN ,she was b abt 1833. They married the 3 march 1851 in barrow upon soar. I am wondering if JOHN DARBY had a brother named WILLIAM DARBY b abt 1821 in barrow upon soar? WILLIAM married ANN RICHARDS in abt 1846. she was b abt 1825 in bobbersmill nottingham. I have their children but what i do want to know if they are related and if their parents could be THOMAS SELBY b abt 1788 barrow upon soar and married MARY DENNIS b abt 1787 in Longbottom. They married in 1809 barrow upon soar.any help would be appreciated.

I have found JOHN DARBY'S birth date. he was b 26 sept, 1827 and was christened the 28 oct, 1827. He was actually born on bishop street wesleyan, leicestershire.Parents were THOMAS DARBY and MARY DENNIS.THOMAS DARBY b abt 1788 as so was his wife. MARY was born in loughborough.

Do you have copies of the marriage certificates for John & Ann, and William & Ann? They would give the names & occupations of the fathers of bride & groom.

In the 1841 census John is living with his parents Thomas & Mary, but by then Thomas jnr had left home & was married. The birth certificate for Daniel Darby, age 9mth in 1841, youngest child living with Thomas snr & Mary) would give his parents' names, including his mothere's maiden name & father's occupation. GRO details are: September quarter 1840, Barrow on Soar Registration District, volume 15 page 34.
Do you already have the families in the 1841 & 1851 censuses?

Just found this website for churchyard inscriptions at Barrow on Soar http://www.earlycinema.com/churchyard/Also noticed in your original posting that you give William Darby's age at marriage as 25 & Ann Richard's as 21. Are these ages ones that you have found from a marriage certificate, a census or from the IGI? It is just that the IGI assumes an age of 25 for a man & 21 for a woman at marriage if they do not know the actual age. If the last case, then the William who is buried at Barrow could be the one you are looking for.

ANN CHAPMAN(wife) born abt 1832 mountsorrel.They married the 3 march 1851 barrow upon soar.

3. TOM DARBY b abt 1859(married SARAH CHAPMAN)
4. SAMUEL DARBY b 11 sept, 1860 same ( married 2 times, elizabeth mary neal, and Isabella bilton.(black smith and bandmaster of the BARROW ON SOAR SILVER PRIZE BAND)
5. LUCY DARBY b abt 1870 (stocking frame work knitter)

JOHN DARBY b abt 1856 married SARAH ANN HALL abt 1876. she was b abt 1858 leicestershire.

9. JOHN CYRIL DARBY b abt 1896, he died the 30 may, 1923.
