Harold Alexander Bridge was born in Liverpool in 1855.
His Australian death certificate in 1914 lists his father- Mark Nelson Bridge as " Captain Imperial Navy".Mark is listed on 1871 census as' Master Pilot'.
Any info welcome.

I am related to the Bridge family.

My great, great grandmother was Constance Bridge. Constance is the daughter of William Brew Bridge and Ann Ellen, his wife.

William Brew Bridge and Ann Ellen Samuels were married in Liverpool in 1867. William Brew Bridge was, at the time of marriage, a pilot. His father, Mark Nelson Bridge, is described as a master pilot.

Mark Nelson Bridge married Elizabeth Gribbin in 1842. Elizabeth was a widower, and her maiden name was Brew. On the marriage certificate William Brew is described as being a shipwright. Mark Nelson Bridge's father was Henry Bridge, also a pilot.

Does this help? Forgive me if you know all this already!

Regards,

Mark
