Walsh Hargreaves

Can anybody help me? I am looking for a record of the birth of Walsh Hargreaves who was born in Bolton some time between 1844 and 1848, the son of James Hargreaves and Nancy. In 1851 they were living in Cobden Place, Great Bolton. In 1866 he was a stonemason and got married in South Shields, although his son Fred was born in Stanley Street, Bolton in 1872. I have tried the Birth registers without success.
