My father's cousin JOHN TANNER appears in the 1901 census as 'Horse Dealer' aged 30 living at The Bridges, which is No 5 on RG13 1046 fol 59 p1 under 'Hamlet of Ashley, Ringwood, New Forest'.
There seems to be more than one location called Ashley and I shall be obliged if SKS can tell me which is the correct one with this reference.
