  4. Finding Which Company an Officer Served In

    I am attempting to track the actual Company an officer was in in 1916. I have his war records but it only gives his Battalion but I need the Company within it. Is there anywhere I can go to get this information? Or any way of finding it out apart from the WO records that survive? :detective:
