    9th December 1941 the Italian Transport Jason (Sebastiano Venier) was torpedoed by a British Submarine of Cape Methoni, Greece. Aboard were 2,000 or so Commonwealth P.O.W. many of whom died. The ship was beached and any recovered bodies buried close by.

    Can anyone tell me any details about 5 Bty. 3rd Maritime Regiment, Royal Artillery and where they where on 13/11/1941. My great uncle served with them and it states he was killed at sea but his body is buried at falmouth in the war graves. Any information would be very welcome. Thanks
